cha2o (Artesia, CA)

This was a quick lunch that I had with my mom, my sister, and my guy before we split up to do our day’s errands.  Even though we were headed in the opposite direction, we let mom decide!

This is my third time blogging about cha2o (see #1 here and #2 here) and there were some definite changes in just over a year.  Read on to find out!

One constant is their insanely huge drinks.  I’m pretty sure that it was met with approval because it was almost gone by the time we left!

I ordered some tofu skewers and even though I should have asked for them to be steamed, they were insanely good!

The ponado was a bit disappointing, but always a fun sight.  Also, please excuse a couple of these blurry photos because obviously I was in too big a hurry to get to my errands!

I really liked these wings, and they have a bunch of different flavors to try out.  Yum!

The shrimp skewers were good.

The bird’s nest noodles were honestly disappointing.  🙁  Somehow not crunchy but not soft either…

The veggie hot pot (with extra Napa cabbage) is always a hit!

And here it is in all its glory.  🙂

For some reason, we were just a bit disappointed.  I had a hard time eating here because there are a serious lack of veggies on the menu, but I think it was just overall a bit “eh.”

How many chances do you give a restaurant before it is off of your “list?”
