Forage (Los Angeles, CA)

After Unique LA, my friend and I were extremely hungry.  Even though we had a few samples of some delicious sweets at the show, we needed to have some real food.  We decided to go to one of her favorite restaurants nearby, Forage!

The outside is not the most festive or inviting, but the inside is another story!

The food is amazing, and I wish that I could have taken a good picture of the entire spread, but the reflection off the glass made it impossible.  🙁  If you take a peek at the menu, you can see that there are lots of items to choose from and they serve it cafeteria style.  Ready to see what we chose?

I don’t eat red meat often, and I am very picky.  This was completely satisfying and delicious!

My friend insisted that we have this as one of our sides.  I can see why!  Creamy, delicious, and the crumb topping was a nice sharp contrast.  Also, the toasted crunch was a perfect texture!

Roasted Spring Vegetables

A mix of beautiful spring vegetables, including carrots, purple cauliflower, bell peppers, and more.  I think you can tell how wonderful it tasted based on the colors alone!

I love how fresh, seasonal and gorgeous all of the ingredients and dishes are.  It was definitely worth the wait!

Are you a fan of restaurants that focus on seasonal dishes?
