I had heard of Slater’s 50/50 a very long time ago, and I figured that I would eventually get around to it.  I was in Riverside, when a large group of us needed to find somewhere to eat.  Luckily, the winning suggestion was their local Slater’s 50/50.  Another one to check off of my list!

So, the reason for the Slater’s 50/50 name is for their signature patty, which is 50% beef and 50% bacon.  For reals.

The decor is like any casual place, but I know you are antsy to see the food already!

I was pretty much in charge of ordering this one.  I mean, it’s cheese on top of cheese, inside of cheese, people!

Ironically, the only vegetable appetizer we ordered ended up with a blurry picture.  Oops!

One of the gluten-free ladies ordered this one.  🙂  It looked amazing!

I ordered this one, and it was heaven!  I have a thing for spicy dishes, as you already know.  🙂

This was the most popular burger on the menu when we were discussing what we should order.  Really, it sounded very interesting, and since it was so large, I had a taste.  It was surprisingly great and reminded me a bit of a Beef Satay.  Yum!

I actually thought that this was going to be a burrito.  Ha!  This was my second choice, and it looked crazy good!

The sweet potato fries with the pumpkin sauce reminded me of fall.  Delish!

Yes, if you want a burger that isn’t on their menu, you can use the “Design It Menu.”  Nice!

I can’t believe that I didn’t try this place earlier, even with everything I had heard before.  Better late than never!
