So right now you’re thinking, “Diane.  What in the world could you be writing about now because you ate the entire freaking Umami Burger menu in your last post?”  Oh friend, I’m delighted to say that you are so very, very wrong.

First of all, you know that Umami Burger likes their seasonal menu items.  Remember the Pumpkin Spice Latte Burger?  Also, they like to make sure to switch up their menu from time to time, so it’s not a surprise that I was invited to try out one of their newest creations…

But we’ll get to that in a bit.   First up, cocktails!

 

 

Both of these drinks were great!  Actually, I enjoyed the hard root beer float near the end of my meal almost like a dessert, so I’m really sharing this post out of order.  Forgive me!

The margarita was sweet and fresh, with a bit of a twist by using the ginger liqueur.  It was paired perfectly with the dish I was invited to try out…

 

Yes, Umami Burger collaborated with the fabulous Mindy Kaling to come up with a burger that is just as fun as she is!  On a more serious note, one dollar from each burger will be donated to the Pancreatic Cancer Action Network.  Personally, my grandmother was able survive with the disease for five years, but she was in the lucky 7% of people diagnosed.  So in my eyes, an incredibly worthy cause to benefit from this collaboration.

Back to the burger!  It’s a bit spicy, amazing colorful, extremely cheesy, and stacks up really nicely like the lady herself!  Seriously take a look…

Before you run out and get the burger, take a look at the rest of the meal I enjoyed!

 

Just about every ingredient in here I’m in love with, so I couldn’t turn down this salad.  Besides the pickle plate, I have admittedly never eaten a vegetable at Umami Burger.  However, they know how to dress a salad and I will definitely try another one next time!  Fantastic.  🙂

 

There is something about the batter on these onion rings that is really special.  It’s so hard not to order them every time I’m here!

 

This is one of the newer burgers on the menu, and considering how much I love Korean BBQ, I was so pumped to try this burger out.  Besides, since I was blasting my tastebuds with The Mindy Burger, I would need to try another burger just as flavorful!

All those tasty layers were messy and ridiculously delicious.  One of my new favorites!
